Project Particulars: “YCS-Youth Citizen Service” is about youth empowerment. It was a partnership project between VSO and Mittika for the pilot launch of YCS in India. My role involved coordination and implementation of specially designed capacity building sessions. The approach of art, dance, movement, theater was used for various capacity building and training sessions for the recruited youth who in turn used these skills for action oriented work in the community. The primary areas of work were: education, gender and livelihood.
